of a rail service. This appears to get the worst of both worlds. The cost of building in that facility will be enormous, while the savings will be small since the actual cost of the rolling stock etc is only a small part of the total cost of putting in the railway. These decisions have
not yet been made, however. It will be early next year before the consultants report on the viability of the rail link.
