elements can be established.

b. PADS Projects

i.

The Tsing Ma suspension bridge will have a main

span of 1,377 metres. However, bridges with

comparable spans and with more difficult site

conditions have been successfully undertaken.

The technology required for the design and the

construction has been available for a number of

years and has been proven on many projects.

ii. The state of the development of the design of the

various core PADS projects is such that all

significant engineering feasibility questions

have been resolved.

Transportation Performance

Mr. Gordon Wu's Proposal

i. Does not provide rail or road service to

residents on Tsing Yi nor provide for a

convenient bus/rail interchange station for

passengers from the North West New Territories.

Increases the passengers on the Tsuen Wan MTR
