Terms of Reference
To agree a timetable of actions required to commission the new airport at Chek Lap Kok in early 1997.
To co-ordinate and monitor actions necessary to meet the timetable in,(a).
To advise and monitor the work of the Civil Aviation Department and other Departments involved in implementing the airport project.
To oversee the selection of consultants as necessary and the undertaking of studies needed in areas such as the airport master plan, engineering design and environmental impact assessment.
As necessary and appropriate, to report progress to and seek progress reports from other committees involved in implementing PADS.
