SCHEDULE
Article 2
1. In Part A of the Schedule to the Order, in section 7(5) for the words "sections 6(1) and 6A(1) of there shall be substituted the words "section 6(1) of, and article 8(1) of the Fifth Schedule to," and for the words "also provide for the staying of legal proceedings" there shall be substituted "provide respectively for the staying of legal proceedings and for the parties to an action to be referred to arbitration".
2. The amendments to the Act specified in this Schedule shall come into force on such day as the Governor of Hong Kong may by order appoint.

This amendment to the Merchant Shipping (Liner Conferences) (Hong Kong) Order 1985 is consequential upon the enactment in Hong Kong of the Arbitration (Amendment) (No. 2) Ordinance 1989 (64 of 1989).
