Hong Kong will comply with the CITES Ban in full.
The necessary Hong Kong legislation will be in place by 17 July to enable ban to be implemented.
A potential loophole in the legislation which could have enabled tourists to Hong Kong to export ivory from Hong Kong
has now been closed.
