NOTES:

1. This derogation may be revoked at any time.

2. This derogation does not remove the necessity to obtain, where required, licences under other legislation such as those governing plant and animal health.

3. Where a personal effect, subject to control under the Regulation, but acquired after 1 July 1975, has previously been imported under an individual permit issued under Article 5 or 10 of European Council Regulation (EEC) 3626/82 or Section 1(2) of the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act 1976, its subsequent export or re-import is permitted under the terms of this derogation.

4.

This derogation does not apply to any specimens that are subject to control under section 1(2) of the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act 1976. A separate Open General Licence (OGL 0004) has been granted for the import and export of non CITES specimens, in respect of personal effects which are intended for household use.
