Mr Maude was grateful to see a copy of the speech enclosed with Sir David Wilson's letter to you of 9 April. He thinks it very satisfactory that HKG are now giving full estimates of British business involvement in Hong Kong, and hopes that the readiness to acknowledge this will continue after the Nationality Bill completes its passage through Parliament.
