These comprise:
a.
Shipbuilder Contract Price
The total Contract Price for 5 No Vessels as established
at the date of placing the Contract (ie as stated at 1a, 1b, 2
and 3 of the Addendum to the Tender Form appropriate to the selected
option) (subject to adjustments). The following Additions/Abatements
to the Shipbuilder contract price will apply where appropriate:
(1) Price Variation Claims for variation of the Contract
Price due to inflationary factors ie increases in wages and/or
-
materials costs (Invitation to Tender (I) Clause 21 and
Schedule 16 refer).

(2) Launching Ceremony Any reasonable costs (within £8000
per vessel at October 1980 price level) in respect of launch
ceremonies (ITT Clause 35 refers).
(3) Technical Changes
Extras or rebates due to the introduction
of alterations to the requirement.
(4) Ship's Staff on Stand-by

(ITT Clauses 42 and 43 refer).
Possible extra or rebate due to
variation in the numbers or periods of ship's staff standing by
vessels under construction.
(ITT Clause 36.3 refers).
(5) Attendance of Ministry of Defence Supplied Items (MSIs)

the attendance, during construction of the vessels, or representatives
of the makers of MSIS.
