The Accreditation Panel conducted a review of the APA in October 1988 and made recommendations in respect of the APA's current and potential place in the Hong Kong education system and its comparability with other institutions overseas, with a view to its becoming an internationally recognised, independently viable institution.
ExCo approved the proposal for the APA to
gain degree status subject
to
accreditation.
Accreditation
process is in hand with a view for completion in
mid 1991.
