ivu asked (in your telno 1'4 ) for travel details of the British delegation. I enclose a list which covers the Hong Kong Government members. In addition Tony Galsworthy, Doug Martin and Charles Parton will take flight BA36 on 20 September at 22.20, arriving Gatwick 05.05. They will return on BA27 from Heathrow at 21.15 on 1 October. I will travel on CX251 to Gatwick at 22.55 on 20 September, arriving 05.40. I will return on CX250 from Gatwick on 1 October.
4. I will be travelling on the same flight as Nigel Whitney, CAB, and we will together bring the briefing folders to Hong Kong Department on the morning of 21 September. There is, I learn, a Cathay limousine service available to take us from Gatwick to the FCO, so no FCO driver/van will be needed (my telno 3/5 para 8 refers).
5. Grateful for a reply to my telnos 315 and 326 (para 5) as soon as possible: we need to finalise the delegation list and the agenda!
