We spoke concerning press arrangements for JLG XVI.
You will have seen FCO telno 117 and UKRep JLG telno 334 (copies attached). The latter contains the text of the press release. I should be grateful if you could arrange for this to issue at the 1230 FCO Press Conference tomorrow (19 September).
3. UKRep JLG telno 334 also indicates that Tony Galsworthy is content for a short photocall to take place at the start of the first session in the Locarno Room. He also wishes to hold an on-the-record press conference at about 1630 on the final day, subject to the views of the Chinese side. I should be most grateful if you could make the necessary arrangements.
