I attach a copy of a minute I have received from the Social Secretary covering a statement of cost from the Government Hospitality Fund for a dinner which Lord Caithness hosted on 24 September for the Sino-British Joint Liaison Group.
2. I should be grateful if you could arrange for the cost to be met from Lord Caithness' entertainment budget, and for a copy of the journal entry to be sent to Miss Carol Dawson, GHF, quoting the reference number GHF A8996.
