WIPO: PATENT AND TRADE MARKS HARMONISATION MEETINGS
Thank you for your letter of 14 May. I understand that Mr Tarnofsky has already told you that there is no objection to Miss Waters being included in the UK delegation for these meetings, on the same terms as for the previous meetings.
You can assume that this will be the case for any future sessions of these meetings, and that there is no need to seek our agreement in each occasion. It would however be useful if we were informed that she (or any other Hong Kong representative) was going to be present.
Miss Waters should be aware that, as far as the patents meeting is concerned, the substantive discussions will take place in the first week rather than the second; the latter part of the meeting will concern itself with preparations for the following year's Diplomatic Conference.
