With reference to the First Meeting of the Standing Committee on Plant Quarantine of the Asia and Pacific Plant Protection Commission (APPPC), being held in Bangkok, Thailand between 27-29 March 1990 which aims to develop a regional approach for the Expert Consultation on Plans Quarantine to be held in July 1990, Bangkok, Thailand, as well as the Technical Consultation among Regional Plant Protection Organization to be held in May 1990, FAO (HO) Rome Italy, the planning of the structure and programme of work of the standing committee and its working groupe. i was
assigned to be the chairman of the working group on Post-Entry Quarantine. One of the assignments is to prepare the intercepted list of quarantine pests in Asia and Pacific.
To prepare the list and analyse the data for July meeting (the
tentative agenda is enclosed herewith). I would need the list of intercepted pests and the list of quarantine pests from your country. would highly appreciate if you could send the both lists to ce at your
earliest convenience.
