You will have seen from Hong Kong telno 1720 of 1 June that Hong Kong have agreed to take responsibility for the UK
contribution in respect of UK membership of the APPPC of US $5,000 per year. Hong Kong have requested that we accept the amendment to introduce mandatory contributions on their behalf.
2. I should be grateful if you could set this in hand and advise me of the procedures by which Hong Kong should pay their contribution.
