I enclose a copy of a letter from FAO regarding the forthcoming seventh Session of the Indo-Pacific Fishery Commission to be held in Hong Kong. I would appreciate if you would forward this to Hong Kong and obtain their agreement to the conditions outlined in the Memorandum of Responsibilities (for ease of reference I also enclose copies of the relevant Articles and Rules of FAO's constitution).
As this Memorandum specifies that these responsibilities are to be assumed by "Her Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom", I think that acceptance of these conditions by Hong Kong should be conveyed by us through our Permanent Representative in Rome.
