AsiaSat is providing fixed telecommunications satellite services
in the 4/6 Gllz frequency band. There are 24 transponders, each
36MHz in bandwidth. The two antenna beams are linearly polarized
and cover China, Pakistan, Thailand and their neighbouring countries.
