LICENCE UNDER SECTION 4 OF THE OUTER SPACE ACT 1986
IMPORTANT NOTE: The provisions of this Licence should be
considered in the context of the Outer Space Act 1986 as
extended to Hong Kong by the Outer Space Act (Hong Kong) Order
1990 (S. I. 1990/ ) subject to the exceptions and
modifications specified in the Schedule to that Order. The
attention of the Licensee is drawn in particular to the
provisions of Sections 1, 6, 7 and 10 of that Act. The
Conditions of this Licence apply without prejudice to the
provisions of the Outer Space Act 1986 as extended to Hong
Kong and any rights and duties arising thereunder.
The Governor hereby grants to:-
Asia Satellite Telecommunications Co Ltd, a company
incorporated in Hong Kong under Branch Registration
Certificate No. 11421708-001-11-89-4 whose registered
office is at 22nd Floor, Hutchison House, 10 Harcourt
Road, Hong Kong.
a Licence under Section 4 of the Outer Space Act 1986 to carry
on the activities described in Condition 2 in relation to the
satellite known as "AsiaSat" in accordance with the conditions
of this Licence.
