respect of damage or loss suffered by Her Majesty's
Government in the United Kingdom, by the Government
of Hong Kong or by third parties, in Hong Kong or
elsewhere, as a result of the Licensed Activities in
such amount, from such date, subject to such terms
and conditions and exclusions and by such insurers
as may be approved from time to time by the
Governor in consultation with the Secretary of State
PROVIDED ALWAYS that such approval shall not in any
way amount to acceptance by the Governor of the
adequacy or otherwise of any such policy. The
Licensee shall provide evidence of the policies of
insurance entered into to comply with its
obligations under the terms of this Licence to the
Governor upon demand together with evidence of
payment of the premiums in respect of such policy or
policies. The Licensee shall not vary the terms of
nor add any additional named insureds to the
insurance effected to comply with its obligations
under this Licence without the prior written consent
of the Governor after consultation with the
Secretary of State.
The Licensee shall ensure that the Secretary of
State and the Governor are named insureds in any
such policy of insurance or their interests are
secured in a manner which is satisfactory to them.
