Command transmission and execution are visually confirmed by the displays on the T&C Stimulator and/or the Realtime Computer terminal.

Command uplink system through the HPA will be tested computer-generated continuous command tone at the spacecraft frequency (DISH or OMNI). The loading, transmission, and execution of commands will be observed at the front panel of the Synchronous Command Generator. The presence of the modulated command frequency at the output of the IPA will be observed. The FM Modulator in the uplink path will be checked for correct modulation index while the command tone is being generated.
