Effective Isotropic Radiated Power (EIRP)
The SCF antenna, together with the command and ranging RF subsystems shall provide the command and ranging uplink flux density required by the spacecraft, with adequate margin to ensure successful operation over the spacecraft lifetime, including the effects of:

The margin for emergency operations with equipment at specified performance shall be not less than 7.0 dB over clear sky performance.
