ARTICLE 5
CLIENT'S TECHNICAL COMMITMENTS
The Client agrees to perform the technical commitments which it is required to perform as provided in or as may be agreed in Annexes I and III of this Contract, and, subject as provided herein, to provide a Payload, to bring the Payload to Xichang Airport, and, at the Launch Base, to prepare the Payload for Launch and the Launch Mission, all having regard to the launch schedule and CGWIC's preparations for the Launch Mission.
5.2 Except as may be otherwise agreed by the Parties, the
Client shall have full responsibility for all

preparation of the Payload for Launch and the Client shall provide or arrange for all equipment and personnel required to assemble and make the Payload ready to load At no time on the Launch Vehicle ready for the Launch. will CGWIC be responsible for operating or modifying the Payload at the Launch Base, except as may be mutually agreed by the Parties.
CGWIC shall conduct a general check-out of the Launch Vehicle in the testing workshop at the Launch Base and the Client shall conduct a general check-out of the Payload after it has been delivered to the Launch Base and prepared for Launch. Following the satisfactory completion of these check-outs, CGWIC and the Client shall meet to review the results of the check-outs and confirm their readiness for the Launch and, as appropriate, confirm that the Payload is ready for loading on the Launch Vehicle and that the Launch Vehicle is ready for the Launch. Each Party shall in the event of an unsatisfactory check-out take such action as is required to produce a satisfactory check- out and shall keep the other Party informed (to the extent necessary) of progress.
