Secretary for Security since April 1990. Born 1944. Kong Government in 1965 as an Administration Officer. Has held various posts in the Government Secretariat. The two previous were Deputy Secretary and Secretary in the Lands and Works Branch of the Government Secretariat. He is also Commanding Officer of the Royal Hong Kong Auxiliary Air Force.
GRAHAM BARNES CBE
Secretary for Planning, Environment and Lands.
Born 1935. Joined Hong Kong Government in 1959. Held various posts in Government Secretariat. Regional Secretary Hong Kong and Kowloon 1982. Director Urban Services 1983. He was Secretary for Lands and Works from 1986 until its reorganisation in 1989.
MRS ANSON CHAN
Secretary for Economic Services, appointed 1987. Official member of LegCo.
Born 1941. Joined Hong Kong Government 1962. Served in
a number of departments including Finance and Social Services branches. Director of Social Welfare 1984. Married to Archibald, one son and one daughter.

Secretary for Trade and Industry since 1989.
Born 1944. Joined HKG in 1964. Subsequently served in various branches including Commerce and Industry, Economic Services, Home Affairs, Social Services and Security.

Deputy Secretary 1984. Married to Agnes, one son
