THE NEW PENSION SCHEME

The Chinese Side will recall that the New Pension
Scheme (NPS) for civil servants was discussed at JLG meetings
in 1986 before its implementation in 1987. We would like to
start with a situation report on this scheme.

The NPS has proved to be quite popular with staff.
