in Hong Kong, for inclusion in the "Good News"
paper.

HKD will ask Mr Heap to put forward names for consideration under the Sensitive Services Class.
HKD will consider with Mr Heap how many really key
people we will need to retain in the BTC up to 1997.

HKG will send us a formal response to the latest
Treasury proposal; and also a more considerable
telegram on strategy and the way forward.
In the light of this, HKD will prepare a submission for Ministers.
(v) Naval Patrol Craft
- HKD will write to Howard (MOD) enclosing the record of the JLG discussion of patrol craft.

Governor will continue dialogue with
Sir M Quinlan.
- Lord Caithness will have a tete a tete with his MOD opposite number after the return of the MOD
team.
(vi) Contingency Planning
- The Governor requested copy of the MISC paper.
- HKD to consider how this should be done.
