Further to my letter of 25 May 1990, the Public Service
that
Commission has now advised that Miss A C Waters should be appointed
Deputy Director of Intellectual Property and Mr D O Kitchell should be put on the waiting list for appointment.

I should be grateful if the Secretary of State could be invited to approve Miss Waters' appointment as Deputy Director of Intellectual Property on overseas agreement terms.
