(b) plan administrative and legal policies to be followed in the Intellectual Property Department, taking into account the procedures currently employed in the Registrar General's Department;

(c offer views to Hong Kong Government's trade negotiators in the GATT Uruguay Round Multilateral Negotiations on Trade-related Aspects of Intellectual Properties and to participate in the negotiations where necessary.
