Mr A.J. Bennett, Inspector of Police
We recommend for the approval of the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs the enrolment of Mr A.J. Bennett, Inspector of Police, as a member of Her Majesty's Overseas Civil Service. His application is attached.
Mr Bennett was born on 15 November 1961. He was recruited as an Inspector of Police in the Royal Hong Kong Police Force on agreement terms on 1 December 1983 through the Hong Kong Government Office in London. A copy of the letter PI/83/2/49 dated 11 October 1983 from the Hong Kong Government Office, London offering him appointment is attached. He was allowed to transfer to the permanent
establishment on 9 November 1988.
We should be grateful if the approval of the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs could be obtained for the enrolment of Mr Bennett as a member of Her Majesty's Overseas Civil Service.
