The salary scale for the post of Inspector of Police (PP4) is :

$3,745; $3,925; 54,105; $4,295; 34,4958 34,700; 14,200; 15,180; and $5,430 per month
There is an efficiency bar between salary points 34,495 per month and $4,700 per month.
On appointment, you will enter the salary scale at $2,920 per month.

Enclosed for your information is a copy of Civil Service Branch Circular No.20/77 concerning the Erevention of Bribery Crdinance (Cap.201), Acceptance of Advantages Segulations, and Civil Service Regulations on Entertainment and Cutside Work and a Booklet entitled "Coming to Hong Kong.
