PROPOSED APPOINTMENT OF HONORARY CONSUL OF DOMINICA IN HONG KONG
1. I refer to your letter of 21 December 1989 informing us of the intention of the Dominican Ministry of External Affairs to appoint Mr David King Hsui as Honorary Consul of Dominica in Hong Kong, resident in Taiwan.
2. As you will have seen from Hong Kong telegram No 741, Hong Kong are unable to accept appointments of honorary consuls who are not resident in Hong Kong.
3. We should be grateful, therefore, if you would inform the Ministry of External Affairs that this appointment is not acceptable to Her Majesty's Government.
