Decided to resign from Shell after visiting London head quarters where I was offered position as advisor to the Board with a view to becoming "ultimate oil expert" in the world.

1955 Founded personal business in Hong Kong which has

developed since into an international enterprise, acknowledged to be the leader in this field.

Additionally engaged in international private investment activities.

Over the past 30 years, received considerable amount of coverage in international publications on both a personal and professional level (Town & Country, Architectural Digest, New York Times, Vogue, Harpers, Officiel, etc.)

Have travelled extensively and frequently each year in U.S.A., India, Asia, China, Europe and all the rest of

the world with resulting wide range of friendships and contacts.

Due to long residence in Hong Kong and prominent business exposure, well-known and connected commercially, socially, Government, etc. Similar international connections through prominent visitors to Hong Kong.

Personal interests: Collections of antique jade; one of the

most celebrated worldwide. Exhibited in two museums in the United States. Currently in Museum storage.

Later this year a new Chinese Export Art gallery in the Victoria & Albert Museum, London (similar to Toshiba Gallery of Japanese Art) will open, sponsored and funded by Gerald Godfrey.
