Messrs. Johnson, Stokes & Master, a leading firm of solicitors in Hong Kong;

January 1981. December 1982 :-

spending one year in the Property Department under the supervision. of a senior property partner, assisting in a variety of property work ranging from general conveyancing, mortgages and tenancy matters to syndication financing and single-lender financing in property projects with mortgages on land and/or buildings, guarantees/debentures/pledges of shares and/or bank deposits as

securities;

spending a period of seven months in the Litigation Department working on general civil litigation with a bias towards insurance- related cases;

spending a period of five months in the Companies Department working on general companies matters.

January 1983 February 1984 :-

serving in the Companies Department on general commercial matters, drafting of a variety of commercial documentation and, on company matters including formation of public companies and private companies and drafting of tailor-made articles for joint venture companies.
