I had a word with the Governor's Private Secretary on the telephone today about when we might expect a reply from Sir D Wilson to my telegram seeking his views on the Hong Kong angle to this issue.
2.
Mr Leeks said that the Governor had chaired a meeting on the subject today and that a telegram would issue, probably on Monday, 16 July.
