Republic and of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and
Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man
reserve the right to refuse leave to enter or stay in
their territory in any case where the person concerned is
considered undesirable or otherwise ineligible under the
general policy of the respective Governments relating to
the entry or stay of foreigners.

Holders of British passports born in German
Democratic Republic territory shall not come within the
scope of this Agreement.
6. German Democratic Republic nationals travelling to
territories not referred to in paragraph 1 above for the
international relations of which the Government of the
United Kingdom are responsible shall also not come within
the scope of this Agreement.
7. The Government of the German Democratic Republic or
the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and
Northern Ireland may temporarily suspend the foregoing
provisions in whole or in part for reasons of public
policy. In any such case the suspension shall be
notified immediately to the other Government through the
diplomatic channel.
8.
This Agreement may be terminated by either of the
Parties on giving 30 (thirty) days' advance notice in
writing to the other.
