GDR VISA ABOLITION AGREEMENT
1. Following the agreement at the 7 May FAC to lift visas for GDR citizens we are hoping to take advantage of getting an amendment to the Immigration Rules before Parliament on 8 June. I would be grateful therefore to receive your comments, and those of copy addressees, on the attached draft Visa Abolition Agreement which we would like to put to the GDR authorities within the next couple of days.
