Dear Sirs,
I am writing to ask you whether it would be possible to help Mrs. Jolanta Pieniazek-Majerska by granting her an entry visa for Hong Kong. The afore mentioned is a Polish citizen, holder of a valid Polish passport and at the same time a permanent resident in the U.K.
Her husband, currently with the CNAA, has been invited to visit one of the Hong Kong educational and research institutions, namely the Baptist College and, not being aware of the details of the Hong Kong visa policy, has made arrangements for his wife to accompany him on this ten-day long visit. Mrs. Pieniazek-Majerska has however been refused a visa. This means that plans already put into action had to be changed with a substantial loss of
money.
May I ask you to investigate the case once again to see if there is any possibility to help Mrs. Pieniazek-Majerska, taking into account that she and her husband intend to begin their journéÿ before the end of the current week.
