With the 6-month
reservation entered at CITES by the UK on behalf of HK, the UK Government continues to come under pressure from domestic groups to rescind the reservation. There are also regular allegations of HK somehow abusing the reservation and fear that HKG may seek an extension of the reservation.
ESB/AFD have been, and will continue to provide whatever assurances are necessary to UKG.
