Admission of PRC nationals presently overseas for
employment in Hong Kong
Vietnamese Boat People
To meet Hong Kong's labour needs, PRC nationals presently overseas will be allowed to come to Hong Kong for employment if they possess special skills, knowledge or experience of use to Hong Kong.
To House & screen AGC new arrivals, resettle refugees return non-refugees to Vietnam.
The new arrangements have come into effect at the end of September 1990.
Good progress with accommodation a screening. Efforts by HMG & HKG to secure full implications of 1989 Internationally Agreed Comprehensive Plan of action continue.
