I have great pleasure in enclosing a copy of the British Council's third Corporate Plan covering the years 1991-94.
The Plan is the Council's central policy document and it outlines the rationale for our global operations and a strategy for the continued development of our work at home and overseas. It describes our main activities and how their performance is to be measured and the ways in which we will seek to deliver maximum value for money. The Plan is principally an internal management document and, apart from members of the Board, Missions, our major sponsors, and a limited number of key contacts, is not for general circulation outside the British Council.
Our first two Corporate Plans generated a very positive response and I trust that you will find 'CP3' equally of interest.
