This group of four left HO CHI MINH, S.VN. on 22-3-90. They first took a train to HANOI. brief stopover, they proceeded onward by train to LAO CAI. On 27-3-90, they crossed the Sino-Vietnamese land border and arrived at HE KOU (
), CHINA. A total of 70,000 dongs and 2.4 RMB were paid to the Vietnamese and Chinese border officials respectively. The group then travelled to LU LIANG (P & ) to visit their relatives. They stayed there for about one week during which they met the ECVII of Group III. She was allowed to join the group for coming to Hong Kong. On 7-4-90, the party of five reached LI QUANG HUA QIAO FARM & Kok v4 ) where they encountered the five VBP of Group II.
