These 21 persons were arranged to leave VN by a VN/M TRAN KHANG BAO A who was a friend of one of the boatmates, Mr NGO PHUC QUYEN.

Hence, no contribution was collected from them. Mr TRAN organized these 21

persons to gather at the boatmaster's home on 17-4-90 and led them to HAI NINH

via CAM PHA on 20-4-90. There they stayed in a hostel for four days awaiting

further arrangement from Mr.TRAN. To avoid, inspection by Sino-Vietnamese

officials, they went to DONG XING() be tomall fishing junk.

they stayed in DONG XING HUA QIAO LU SHE 興華僑旅舍 ) for another

2 days. On 26-4-90, they headed their way for QUANG ZHOU by bus and reached

QUANG ZHOU RAILWAY STATION two days later. Having an overnight rest in QUANG ZHOU RAILWAY STATION, they went to ZHU JIANG (1) where they bought a wooden fishing junk at a cost of RMB $6,500. Finally, these 21 persons set sail in the late evening on 29-4-90 whereas Mr. TRAN returned Vietnam on his own.

They subsequently arrived in HK in the following afternoon without touching other ports en-route.
