31 boatmates, actuated by the rumours in their circle, fled BEI HAI SHI,

CHINA (中国北海市 ) on 20-4-90 at 2300 hrs. They were either relatives or neighbours. Hugging the coast of LEI ZHOU BAN DAO (+30

半岛 ) for 3 days, they arrived at HAI AN (

) where they windsheltered for 5 days. They set sail again on 28-4-90 and reached XU WEN (

) on the following day. Having spent 2 days for engine repairing, they moved on and called at SHA YAO (-) on 5-5-90.

(沙腰 ) on 5-5-90. After an overnight rest, they resumed their voyage and finally arrived in Hong Kong on 7-5-90 without touching other ports en route.
