The junk has not been towed to GIRC. No photo is available.
With the assistance of Mr. TRUONG PHAT CHAN who was the elder brother of boatmaster, this group of 5 persons left HO CHI MINH CITY, S. VN. on 24-9-1989 by train. They arrived at HAI NINH, N. VN. on 29-9-1989 via HANOI and HONG CAI There they took a small boat to reach DONG XING (
) on the same day evening.
Having been guided by a ECV, TRUONG PHAT CHIAN, they were brought to QUANGXI SHENG FANG CHENG NASUO FARM i Aft & Y

) where the courier
lived. There they got acquainted with Group II (ECVIIs) and promised to bring
them to Hong Kong after receiving RMB$1,000 from the courier. They stayed there
until 1-12-1989 pending their arrangement to Hong Kong. Under the direction of

the courier, the combined group continued their journey and reached QING YUAN ) on 15-12-1989 via QUANGZHOU (-4
XIAN, SAN TONG ( q q k z v
), SAN SHUI (K) and SHI HUI). Having bought a Chinese Junk at a cost of RMB$1,000, they started their voyage on the following day whereas the courier returned to NASUO FARM (1⁄2 + ) on his own.
