This group of 4 were land-crossers from Vietnam to China. They left HO CHI MINH, S.VN. on 28-12-89 and went to HA NOI by bus. After stopping overnight, they proceeded to HONG GAI where they met a Vietnamese who provided onward passage to MONG CAI by car. On 5-1-1990, the party reached the Sino- Vietnamese border. They crossed the border by paying 200 dongs and RMB $2 to the Vietnamese border officials and Chinese officials respectively. They then
went to visi 陳光儲 who was the, uncle of a boatmate (address : 中國广西省東興縣中山路72號)。
陳光儲 was believed to be an
ECVII who migrated to China in 1979. With his assistance, the group managed
a boat at RMB $5,600. They set sail on 1-1-1990 and hugged the coast
