Mr Maude asked that the Ambassador in Hanoi should find out more about propaganda activities in Vietnam to discourage clandestine departures. He would be grateful for a note on this before his visit to Vietnam. He decided that we should go ahead with the proposal to send a cameraman out with the next volunteer flight, at a cost of £12,000.
