When I wrote to you on 14th October, 1989 following our discussions at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office on 23rd June, -1989 about Hong Kong pensions, I did so at the request of the
Association's Executive Committee. I am afraid that, as yet, I have received no reply from you to my letter.

There is to be a further meeting of our Executive on 16th January, 1990 and I am sure that I shall be pressed by the members of that Committee to confirm that I complied with their I hope, therefore, request, and to say what answer I received.
