HONG KONG PENSIONS
On 23rd June, 1989, I led a delegation from my Association to discuss this subject with Mr. Alan Paul, Head of the Hong Kong Department at your Office.
When I did not receive a promised record of our meeting, I wrote to Mr. Paul on 24th October, 1989, seeking confirmation of my understanding of what we had agreed and asking for news of further developments. (Copy of letter attached).
Despite a reminder on 8th December, 1989, I have not had the courtesy of an acknowledgement or reply to either letter.
Would you now be good enough to give this unsatisfactory state of affairs your personal attention? I am anxious to know whether the representations to Hong Kong promised by Mr. Paul have been made and, if so, what reaction there has been to them.
Yours sincerely,
tuelle
