ELECTED SEATS IN 1991?
It is clear that there is a large measure of support for the OMELCO Consensus. It is also clear that no responsible opinion in Song Kong welcomes unnecessary confrontation with China. Our job is to consider whether we can achieve the degree of democracy which meets Hong Kong's aspirations and which can continue and increase in the years ahead. That is what we are trying to achieve.
