PRC list of concerns over Hong Kong, and understandably so, perceived clamp down in Hong Kong on activities which could be construed as subversion of the PRC system, are now liable to be portrayed as the British (or Hong Kong) Governments suppressing democracy in Hong Kong and kow-towing to China! What seems required are leaders who can steer a middle course between these points of views.
Anyway, I am sure you are already fully immersed in these issues, and I (and the rest of Conservatives Abroad) look forward to seeing you in Hong Kong.
