The Minister for Trade is planning to visit Hong Kong and Indonesia from Friday 21 September to 29 September inclusive. it is also possible that a visit to India will be slotted in at the end of the trip from 29 September to 3 October inclusive.
The purpose of the visits is trade promotion and in particular to pursue opportunities for British business arising out of the Hong Kong Airport project.
Would you please seek your Secretary of State's approval for Mr Sainsbury to undertake this visit.
